1. Nature of Services
Biochar Academy provides digital educational services, including but not limited to:
Online self-paced courses
Live online training sessions
Webinars
Workshops
Educational resources
Downloadable learning materials
Certificates (where applicable)
As these are digital services delivered electronically, they are not eligible for physical returns.
2. No Refund Policy
All course registrations and payments made through the Biochar Academy website are final and non-refundable.
Once payment has been successfully processed and a participant has been granted access to a course, webinar, workshop, or any digital learning resource:
No refunds will be issued.
No cancellations will be accepted.
No exchanges or transfers will be permitted.
No partial refunds will be provided.
This policy applies regardless of whether the participant:
Accesses the course or not.
Starts the course or not.
Completes the course or not.
Attends live sessions or not.
Downloads the course materials or not.
Participants are encouraged to review the course description, objectives, schedule, prerequisites, and requirements carefully before making a purchase.
3. Course Access
Upon successful payment, participants receive access to the purchased course according to the terms specified for that course.
Access periods may vary depending on the course or program.
4. Technical Issues
If a participant experiences genuine technical difficulties preventing access to the purchased course due to issues within Biochar Academy’s platform, reasonable technical support will be provided to restore access.
Technical assistance does not constitute grounds for a refund.
5. Course Cancellation by Biochar Academy
Biochar Academy reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel any course, webinar, or training program due to unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, Biochar Academy may, at its sole discretion:
Provide access to a future session;
Offer an equivalent course; or
Issue a refund if the course is cancelled before any access has been provided.
6. Certificates
Biochar Academy may issue Honorary Certificates, Certificates of Participation, or other certificates for eligible courses.
Please note:
Certificates are not issued automatically unless specifically stated in the course description.
Certificates are issued only upon request by the participant.
Issuance of any certificate is entirely at the sole discretion of the course mentor(s) and Biochar Academy.
The mentor’s decision regarding certificate eligibility, type, and issuance shall be final and binding.
Biochar Academy reserves the right to decline certificate requests where participation or eligibility requirements have not been met.
7. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for:
Providing accurate registration information.
Ensuring they have suitable internet connectivity and compatible devices.
Reviewing all course details before making payment.
Failure to meet these requirements does not qualify for a refund.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Participants agree to contact Biochar Academy directly to resolve any payment concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their payment provider.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension or permanent termination of access to all Biochar Academy services.
9. Policy Changes
Biochar Academy reserves the right to modify this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. Any updates will become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
